SITE PREPARATION
- CLEAN THE CONCRETE - INCLUDING HIGH-PRESSURE WASH, REMOVE OLD PAINT/SEALANT
- REPAIR CRACKS
- ADD A FRESH COAT OF EXTERIOR BASE PAINT AND WAIT UNTIL COMPLETELY DRY
APPLY YOUR STENCIL DESIGN
It's always a good idea to have a practice run on an old piece of cardboard or paper. Once you are ready:
- DRAW OUT YOUR STENCIL PATTERN BEFORE YOU START PAINTING
- SECURE YOUR STENCIL TO THE CONCRETE SURFACE USING TAPE
- USING YOUR ROLLER, START APPLYING THE DESIRED PATTERN
a) For a clean stencil finish, apply light coats of paint and repeat as required
b) When you notice paint starting to build up on your stencil, clean your stencil to ensure the best results.
